Harold R. Gordon Memorial Award
Harold R. Gordon is considered to be the father of the American health insurance industry. He was a visionary who sensed that some place between the property/casualty insurance and life insurance industry would emerge a distinct industry concerned with insuring the financial aspects of a person getting sick or hurt.

In memory of this great leader, NAHU annually awards the industry's greatest accolade, the Harold R. Gordon Memorial Award, which recognizes the recipient as the industry's Person of the Year.

2009 Awards Criteria Lists

*These lists are current as of today. Capitol Conference and the Leadership Program final attendees registration lists will not be available until after the awards deadline of April 6. Please submit the names you think attended and they will be checked once received at NAHU's national office.

**These reports require information in the March 2009 membership report. This report will not be available until after the April 5 awards deadline. Please submit the award application leaving this item blank and NAHU staff will complete the information prior to the awards judging weekend.
