Health Insurance 101

Designation programs like RHU, REBC, and EIB are a tremendous educational opportunity, sometimes what is needed first is a nuts and bolts overview. To meet this need, NAHU has developed a two-hour Health Insurance 101 program. The program has been designed to educate new agents about how health insurance works and what they need to know to get started in the group insurance sales business. After passing the exam, the student will be provided with a certificate of completion.

New Agents Task Force - Walk for Charity

Tuesday, February 5th, 5:45 am

Whitman-Walker Clinic is a non-profit community-based health organization serving the Washington, DC metropolitan region. Our clinic is comprised of diverse volunteers and staff who provide or facilitate the delivery of high quality, comprehensive, accessible health care and community services. We encourage everyone, especially new agents, to attend this event.

Please give a donation of your choice to attend; our goal is to raise $1000.

Networking Dinner (Monday, February 4, at 6:30 p.m.): The NATF is also hosting a Dutch-treat casual networking dinner on Monday evening at a yet-to-be-determined nearby restaurant. Come network and meet other new agents. More details about the restaurant will be announced during the Monday general session. Interested members should meet at the hotel's Pennsylvania Avenue side entrance at 6:30 p.m.
