Benefit Management Services
Benefit Management Services (BMS) is excited to announce that a comprehensive Corporate Wellness Program has been added to its menu of available services to help companies reduce high dollar claims as well as improve the health of their employees.
The BMS program consists of four steps. In Step 1, participants fill out a Personal Wellness Profile (PWP) that acts as a road map to help evaluate a participant's overall health. In Step 2, participants attend an on-site health screening event which screens for weight, BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides and blood glucose, and the results are delivered within fifteen minutes. A Personal Wellness Profile report that evaluates current health and wellness is sent to participants in Step 3, while the sponsoring group receives an aggregate report. Step 4 is what sets the BMS program apart from most other programs. Participants are teamed up with their own personal Nurse Coach who uses proven, one-on-one, intrinsic coaching techniques to help participants achieve their health goals. Another distinctive feature of our program is that companies work with a Certified Corporate Wellness Specialist, for program customization so the program balances the needs of the company with those of its population. BMS delivers its Wellness program to groups, (both fully insured and self funded) of all sizes located mainly in the southeast, but can be delivered nationwide. For greatest results, all program components are designed to be packaged together, but components can be purchased separately. BMS proudly discounts our PWP and health screenings services 10% for NAHU members.
