2008 NAHU State Website Award

Description

The State Website Award honors state chapters for outstanding websites that serve as a resource for members, non-members and the public while promoting the value of membership. All state chapters are eligible and encouraged to apply for the state award. A recommended point threshold for state chapters is 550 points. A total of two website awards will be presented to state chapters. Winning chapters will be provided with a "2008 NAHU Website Award Winner" seal to post on their website.

Summary of Criteria

  1. Comprehensive, attractive home page, including a link to NAHU
  2. Chapter benefits and services provided to members
  3. Information about the state association, Board of Directors and Committee information, links to local chapter websites, awards, and media relations activities
  4. Legislative information, how to contact your legislators and get involved
  5. Industry news, including professional development and continuing education programs
  6. Membership information and current calendar of events
  7. Consumer information
  8. Website structure
