(Arlington, VA) – Kevin Corcoran, Executive Vice President of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), was named one of "The 100 Most Powerful People in the Insurance Industry" according to Insurance-Letter, a popular industry publication.
“While they used my name for the list, this is clearly recognition of all the hard work done by NAHU’s board, staff and volunteers,” said Corcoran. “We should all be proud of this honor, and redouble our efforts in 2003 to build on our position as a leading voice for free market health insurance and benefit products."
"NAHU continues to work incredibly hard on important health insurance issues that have helped more Americans obtain health insurance," remarked NAHU President Eva Jean Fomalont. "We are honored that the industry recognizes our hard work, and we will continue to work overtime to advocate public policy to help cover the nation's uninsured and maintain affordable, high-quality coverage for consumers and employers."
The National Association
of Health Underwriters represents nearly 18,000 professional health insurance
