LTC Partnerships Introduction

We want to be sure that every one of our chapters is informed about the new availability of long term care partnership programs. This public-private partnership could be an important model for the success of private sector insurance in the future. It is a perfect way to illustrate that the private sector can provide coverage for needed care in a way that allows more choice, better quality, and a lower cost for both the consumer and the government.

We would like for every NAHU chapter to be sure that an introductory presentation on Long Term Care Partnership programs is given to your chapter during 2007. To that end, our Long Term Care Advisory Group has developed a PowerPoint presentation An Introduction to LTC Partnerships, complete with speaker notes. All of your chapters have experts in this area that could present this material and we hope that all of you will put the program on your agenda in the very near future.
