A Trusted Advisor in Washington and State Capitals
NAHU's team of experienced professionals has strong relationships with federal and state legislators and regulators. Our philosophy is to educate them about how America’s health care market really works, and how our initiatives, and our members, support the market. When NAHU Talks, Congress Listens
When was the last time you called or wrote to your federal or state elected officials? Legislators can only represent your interests if you share your views with them. NAHU is your voice in Washington and your state capital.

"Contact Congress Now" - NAHU’s Operation Shout! gives you direct access to your elected officials, listing biographies, voting records, PAC contributors, election opponents and more. You can also use Operation Shout! to reach key individuals in your local and national media, including TV, radio and newspapers.

Meetings That Make a Difference
NAHU hosts two annual meetings that provide attendees with valuable information and knowledge:

• Capitol Conference brings 800+ members to Washington for three days of education, training and meetings with their elected officials. NAHU members’ knowledge of the topics under discussion, and their ability to present that knowledge persuasively, is a tremendous asset in our advocacy efforts. Featured speakers have included members of Congress, media leaders and Cabinet officials.
• Annual Convention gathers together members and leaders from across the country for four days of education, training, networking and fun. Highlights include the Awards Breakfast, the Harold R. Gordon Memorial Award Banquet, an exhibit hall with 100+ booths and the House of Delegates, where Board officers are elected and NAHU’s bylaws amended.

Member Discount Programs
We know that a penny saved is a penny earned, so we've used the strength of our 20,000 members to negotiate discounts on many essential services. NAHU offers discounts on many products and services that help you grow your business.
