v Reg VI: Getting questions about Silver Seal Certification program; will have people contact Chapter Relations chair

2008 Website Award Recommendations

v Working with Communications Committee

v Recommended having a separate application for state chapters and local chapters

v Communications Cmt is updating the Website Guidebook and it will work in conjunction with the award and will be rolled out at the same time

v Awards Cmt will be asked to review the guidebook

v Purpose for the award was not determined; Communications Cmt felt this was better determined by the chapters

2008 Wetzel Award Recommendations

v Recommendations assisted by input from past award winner

v Testimonial form can be difficult to get from hosting organization

v Recommend using surveys in conjunction with testimonials; feedback or survey will suffice

v Need to have at least five presentation with testimonial or survey and after five need to have 80% of the presentation with either testimonial or survey

v What happens if there is a tie; documentation fulfillment will break the tie

v Cover letter explaining purpose of presentation and summary of submission will be required

v Does the individual need to be “recommended” or “sponsored” by a chapter? No.

v How do the presentations count if the person is paid to speak?

v Presentations need to cover at least three of the recommended topics; they all can’t be on the same thing.
