PURPOSE: To ensure substantial exposure is given to the Association and the industry about the Award winner.

POLICY: That the Executive Vice President shall cause the Association to publicize the Award recipients background information and other details in the HIU magazine in the September issue. In addition, the cover of the magazine shall be that of the recent Award recipient. The Association shall distribute press releases the day after the Award event to the industry trade press, the Award recipient's hometown press, and other appropriate media.

PROCEDURE(S): The Committee and EVP shall work with the appropriate staff and vendors to accomplish these tasks.

FINANCIAL IMPACT: That any financial implications of this policy shall be reflected in the Committee's annual submitted budget to the Board of Trustees for their approval.
